Interview with TriForce
BitcoinChaser: What kind of problem, market deficiency or opportunity inspired you to launch your project?
TriForce: As avid gamers looking for new ways to generate revenue, we realised that not only are there huge gaps within the gaming industry, but also no viable revenue streams for the gamers themselves. Our initial idea was to create a betting platform, so players could bet against one another over who would win at a game. We then started to release that trading within multiple games isn’t always supported, but those that are, could also be monetised. Once our creative juices started flowing, we noticed that all platforms in a sense are segregated from one another, meaning players on PC are unable to communicate with the players on consoles, efficiently and effectively at least.
This is when the vision for TriForce Tokens came to life. We decided to create a platform that united all gaming platforms in one place, allowing for easier communication, trading and transparency in order to one collaborative gaming community. From this we wanted to allow players to generate a revenue stream, to which they could build upon their own digital asset empire. The more they played the more they could earn. Whilst allowing trading, we also wanted to come up with new innovative ways for players to earn money. One of these is the honouring system, to which players can reward players for their help and positive collaboration. We wanted to create a positive and encouraging gaming community, to which we counter toxic player behaviour. Our honouring system actually gives players a really unique way of earning some extra revenue simply from their activities.
Not only did we think about the players, but we started to look into the struggles of the developers. We quickly released that indie game developers are the most susceptible to hard-hitting revenue losses caused by many things. The may cause was due to the competition within the gaming market, in order for game developers and their games to become noticed their costs of marketing could outweigh their cost of development. In most cases, not feasible.
Another issue was that of piracy, which affected the entire industry and also a lack of data on player behaviour. In order to overcome these issues, we then decided to create a platform for the developers alongside that of the players platform. This will allow the developers an insight into player behaviour, which our piracy engine can be implemented and all data fed into the platform. Allow developers to offer rewards to players for completing tasks but also take a small transaction fee from players for the trades that take place. It create a platform to which developers enlightens them on the current gaming ecosystem, whilst generating a new revenue streams.
So in order to answer your question, we will build one platform that creates an ecosystem and a collaborative community, to which every individual will benefit from.
BC: How will your project address this problem, market deficiency or opportunity in a unique way?
TriForce: Our project is providing developers and players with new and innovative features that have not yet come to market. Our honouring system is one, it allows for players to reward each other for working together. Another unique feature is that of the piracy engine, this will allow developers to effectively and efficiently identify piracy within their games. The platform will then present this information to the developers to do what they see fit. Whether they distribute warnings or offer discounted rates on games. The decision is in the hands of the developers. And lastly, our platform will provide developers with player behaviour analysis through big data. This allows players to be intelligently matched to games they love and provide a more level playing field for game developers with smaller advertising budgets. It also allows developers to understand their communities behaviours, needs, wants and desires to help with marketing and future game development. Something that the market is yet to offer.
BC: How do you think that competition will develop in this segment of the market following your ICO?
TriForce: We have come across some competitors within the market, however many of them are focusing on the same issues. There seems to be little differentiation between them. However, what we are offering is really getting to the heart of some of these big challenges in the gaming industry. Entering the market now with our solutions is the perfect time and we will continue to grow in strength as our solutions become recognised.
BC: For all those who have read your white paper and are still on the fence about contributing to your ICO, what can you tell them that could lead them to buy into your project?
TriForce: What we are offering is more than just a cryptocurrency, our vision has always been more than just a currency. We will be working toward gaining wide user adoption and have a solid four year growth strategy in place. No other competitors are providing the solutions we are introducing which is already being noticed by others in the industry. Recently we had also confirmed full support from Coventry University Enterprises around IP audit processes with Innovate UK, so once this process is complete the value of our project is going to rise very soon.
Our vision is to dominate the industry by providing the most unique solutions, helping to shape and create a more collaborative and beneficial gaming industry. This is not just a business to us, this is our passion, pride and joy.
