Is Mike Tyson Bitcoin’s Newest Heavyweight?

In one way or another, you’ve probably heard of Mike Tyson. Whether you were a fan of his boxing career, or simply saw him and his pet tiger in ‘The Hangover’, Mike Tyson has definitely fallen on your radar at some point. He’s a pretty famous dude. So famous in fact that he has more than 5 million followers on Twitter, all of which were the first to receive news of Tyson’s entrance into the Bitcoin space.

It appears that Iron Mike is now becoming Golden Mike as he looks to implement Bitcoin ATMs and join one of the fastest-growing markets in the world. Speaking of fast, the tagline on Tyson’s new Bitcoin site reads: “Mike Tyson’s fastest knock out in the ring was 30 seconds. The Mike Tyson Bitcoin ATM can turn your cash into Bitcoin in under 20 seconds.”

Tyson has dominated every aspect of his life so far, so churning out a fast and cool new Bitcoin ATM seems like a fun new medium for him to take over. There has always been a ton of hype surrounding the former boxer, so why not get involved with a super-hyped market such as Bitcoin? This seems like a knockout (sorry) and could be very interesting.

Tyson’s site says the ATMs are coming in August so stay tuned.
