bitcoin dice strat

Bitcoin’s first generation casino game is classic Dice: easy to learn and difficult to master. While it wasn’t always necessary “dice” being thrown, the concept of betting whether the outcome would be higher or lower has been around since the beginning. Let’s warm up with a little “What is Bitcoin dice” and then dive straight into our top 5 Bitcoin dice strategies

What is Bitcoin Dice?

Widely regarded as the purest form of crypto gambling, Bitcoin Dice is an olden goldie. Renowned for being fair and straightforward, the game is a hit on plenty of online casinos, as well as unique dice-only casino platforms. As briefly mentioned above, the concept of the game is to bet whether the dice outcome will be higher or lower than the original number presented. Oftentimes you can change the number, i.e. the casino might start you on 23 (out of 100), but allows you to change the number either higher or lower. From there you make your bet and wait on the outcome. If it’s within your guess range, you win.

Top 5 Bitcoin Dice Strategies

It might not sound like a terribly strategic game, but there are one or two (five to be exact) Bitcoin dice strategies that you can learn to improve your odds and become a pro. Here they are (in no particular order):

#1 Martingale Strategy

A strategy coming out of 18th century France (yes, quite a bit before cryptocurrency) and by far the most popular, is the Martingale strategy. It centres around increasing your bets on each losing streak to incur the cost in your win. We’ll break it down for you.

  1. Bet 1: player bets 1m฿, and loses
  2. Bet 2: player bets 2m฿, and loses
  3. Bet 3 (or so on): player bets 4m฿, and wins – winning back previous losses! Woohoo.

#2 The Break Even Martingale Strategy

Similar to the Martingale strategy, this one works slightly differently in that it stagers the bets. So instead of doubling your bet each time, you increase on par and then double, i.e.:

  1. Bet 1: player bets 1m฿, and loses
  2. Bet 2: player bets 1m฿, and loses
  3. Bet 3 (or so on) players bets 2m฿, and hopefully wins, if not, carry on with this pattern.

#3 The Inverse Martingale Strategy

Again, based on the Martingale strategy – we did mention it was the most popular one. This one works on the winning streak as opposed to the losing one. So, instead of increasing these bets when losing, you increase them when winning. So let’s say we take off from #1’s example:

  1. Bet 4: player bets 4m฿, and wins
  2. Bet 5: player bets 8m฿, and wins
  3. Bet 6: player bets 16m฿, and so on!

That way you keep that extra 50% stake!

#4 The Paroli Strategy

Also sometimes referred to as the reverse Martingale, the Paroli strategy centres around helping players minimize their losses and maximize on winning streaks. To start, the player will determine their base stake, let’s say 1m฿. After each win, the player will double their bet, but will stop doubling their bets after three consecutive wins. After a loss, the player decreases their bets back to their base stake.

  1. Bet 1: player bets 1m฿, and wins
  2. Bet 2: player bets 2m฿, and wins
  3. Bet 3: player bets 4m฿ and wins,
  4. Bet 4: player then bets 1m฿…

#5 D’Alembert Strategy

The D’Alembert strategy can be described as cautious and simple, designed to leave you with what you started with, and lots of wagers in between. For every loss, bets are increased by 1, and for every win bets are decreased by one unit.

  1. Bet 1: player bets 1m฿, and loses
  2. Bet 2: player bets 2m฿, and loses
  3. Bet 3: player bets 3m฿, and wins
  4. Bet 4: player bets 2m฿, and wins
  5. Bet 5: player bets 1m฿…
