Roobet Cup 2023: Winner Crowned in $250,000 Counter-Strike 2 Tournament

All good things must come to an end, and the Roobet Cup 2023 is no different. After more than a month of high-level gameplay, competitive spirit, and loads of hard work; one team has finally been crowned the Roobet Cup 2023 champions.

The competition had originally launched on October 25th and was one of the first Counter-Strike 2 tournaments to launch. Not only did Roobet break records by being among the first, but this was also their second Counter-Strike tournament, following their Roobet Cup 2022.

Roobet is quickly becoming a brand synonymous with not only esports betting, but esports as a whole. This competition featured some of the biggest names in the Counter-Strike arena. This year their roster boasted teams such as:

  • Eternal Fire
  • 9INE
  • Ninjas In Pajamas
  • And so many more

So who actually won? After a week of each team fighting for their digital lives, one team walked away victorious. The winner of the 2023 Roobet Cup is… Drum roll please… Virtus.Pro.

Not only did they take home the Roobet Cup win, but they also jumped straight into the Thunderpick World Championship 2023. They managed to work their way all the way up to second place. Winning the Roobet Cup on November 2nd, 2023, followed by a second-place position in the Thunderpick World Championship on November 5th. It was a crazy week for Virtus.Pro.

This Roobet Cup has been a monumental success. From the prize pool to the well-known names, and of course the social media giveaways. Roobet went above and beyond to ensure the first Counter-Strike 2 tournament was one to be remembered.

We look for to the Roobet Cup 2024. Do you think Virtus.Pro will come back to claim their crown again? What other esports will you be betting on in the meantime?
