Dell becomes the latest in the group of computer retailers to accept Bitcoin for buying hardware online.
I recently wrote about Newegg.com accepting Bitcoins, and it seems like other major hardware and electronics retailers are following suit. I saw today that Dell.com have just announced that their website now accepts Bitcoin as a payment method for computers and computer parts online.
Dell.com is one of the largest online computer stores and it’s great to see them jump on the Bitcoin bandwagon. As the Bitcoin wallet interfaces become more user friendly and PayPal-ly (new word?) more and more businesses will accept the coins which should drive further user adoption of web based crypto wallets.
The question is, have we passed critical mass / the tipping point yet or is Bitcoin still reversible? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.
